We are currently looking for a Freelance Proposal Engineer for a client site based in Salford, Manchester. Due to the nature of the role candidates can be based anywhere but expected to attend site min 1 per week.
Working with design plans to create the contract proposal based in client specifications
Developing schedule and budget for each stage of the project
Reviewing proposals from other companies to determine if they are competitive or if adjustments need to be made.
Performing engineering tasks such as developing designs, creating models, and conducting tests to ensure that designs meet specifications
Communicating with clients to gather information about their needs and preferences regarding design solutions
Conducting feasibility studies to evaluate whether a project is economically sound
Developing construction schedules and budgets for each phase of a project
Requirements:
Degree in engineering, business or related field
Experience in a similar role
Strong attention to details
Proficient in MS Suite
This is a scheduled 8-16weeks project specific requirement with the potential for further works.
